Antica Colombaia Opening

It is with great pride that the Maroncelli family announces the opening of Antica Colombaia B&B in the heart of San Marino. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, conducted by the Captain of the Castle of Borgo Maggiore alongside the owners, took place on March 24, 2024. San Marino RTV documented the historic event, including an interview with architect Renzo Broccoli, the director of the project.

At dusk, music turns into magic.
On the terrace of Antica Colombaia, a concert took place that offered genuine emotions and moments of rare enchantment. An extraordinary opportunity to listen to masterpieces by renowned composers like Georges Bizet, Vincenzo Bellini, Pietro Mascagni, Georg Philipp Telemann, Cécile Chaminade, and Jacques Casterede, filling the terrace’s intimate, panoramic setting with music.
In collaboration with the Istituto Musicale Sammarinese, the event featured a gifted flute quartet, captivating a large audience with a refined and engaging performance full of emotion.
A night of music and connection that crowned Antica Colombaia as the perfect place for quality cultural events.
Flute Masterclass: FEDERICA BACCHI

Wednesday 2 – Friday 4 September 2026
Antica Colombaia B&B hosted a flute masterclass led by Federica Bacchi, flute professor at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Ferrara, offering a valuable educational opportunity for flutists of all ages and levels.
The masterclass culminated on Friday, September 4, with the final concert hosted by Antica Colombaia, where the course participants performed for the audience, sharing the results of their work throughout the days of study.
A moment of music and shared appreciation that brought the educational experience to a close, celebrating the artistic journey and growth of the young musicians who took part.
The Maroncelli family would like to thank Maestra Federica Bacchi for choosing to share this educational experience, and the Istituto Musicale Sammarinese for its organization, with special thanks to flute teacher Miriam Albertini and accompanist pianist Nicola Giaquinto for their valuable contribution to the realization of the masterclass.

Antica Colombaia B&B is delighted to host three events as part of the 16th edition of Maskfest, a festival dedicated to contemporary music and to showcasing internationally acclaimed performers and repertoire.
Antica Colombaia will provide the setting for three concerts, each offering a distinctive musical experience. On September 12, the spotlight will be on Chicago’s Fulton Chamber Players, featuring Addison Teng on violin and Amy Hess on viola. On October 18, Intrecci Sonori will take the stage, with Chiara Di Bert on violin and Federica Cardinali on viola. Finally, on October 24, guitarist Michele Santoro will present a recital dedicated to the great works of the guitar repertoire.
